Our Approach to Privacy

YouTubeVilla operates as a marketplace for YouTube channels. We keep our privacy policy honest and straightforward: we only collect the minimum details needed to review, list, and transfer channels safely. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we never sell your personal information.

1. What Data We Collect

We only collect information you deliberately provide when using the platform:

• Channel Listing Details: When you submit a channel through our Sell form, we collect the channel name, channel URL, subscriber count, asking price, category, and your written description.
• Uploaded Screenshots & Proof: Any analytics screenshots, revenue proofs, or channel dashboard images you upload during submission.
• Google Sign-In Information: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only the basic profile data provided by Google Identity Services — specifically your name and email address. We do not receive or request your Google account password.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the submitted information strictly for the following purposes:

• Public Listings on the Buy Page: To display approved channel details (name, category, subscriber count, price, and public metrics) to potential buyers browsing the marketplace.
• Contacting Sellers: To inform you about the review status of your listing (approved, changes requested, or rejected).
• Buyer & Seller Introductions: To connect verified buyers directly with sellers over WhatsApp to facilitate questions and initiate the escrow process.

3. Data Storage & Automatic Deletion

All submission data is stored securely in our database:

• Unapproved or Rejected Submissions: If a channel submission is rejected or cannot be verified, the submission record and all associated uploaded images are automatically deleted from our servers after 7 days.
• Approved Listings: Approved channels remain active on the marketplace until the channel is sold or the seller asks for it to be taken down.

4. Third-Party Services

We believe in keeping our service lean and clean. We only interact with two third-party services:

• WhatsApp: Used for direct communication between buyers, sellers, and admin to coordinate channel inspections and escrow handovers.
• Google Sign-In: Used optionally for quick user authentication without requiring separate password management.

We do not work with third-party ad networks, marketing data brokers, or behavioral analytics firms. Your data is never sold or shared with outside parties.

5. How to Request Data Removal

You have full control over your data. If you wish to remove your channel listing, delete your submission records, or erase any uploaded images, simply send us a message on WhatsApp. We will manually delete your data from our database upon request.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

YouTubeVilla does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We only use your browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode) so your chosen display appearance remains consistent across visits. This is stored entirely on your own device and is not used for tracking or profiling.
